my random thoughts for wednesday:
if someone sneezes, and i say “bless you!” do i then have to say it again if she sneezes immediately after and then again after that and after that? (the chick sitting across from me just had a sneezing fit). what’s the rule on that? i said it once and then left it at that but i’m not sure.
i took the tram home today and at one of my stops, my pharmacist boarded and was smelling quite strongly of beer. he was in his pharmacy gear so it looked like he had just gotten off work. i was rather disturbed about this because he’s responsible for filling my prescription of baby stoppers every month. what if he’s on the sauce while he’s filling my script and i get something different? am i being paranoid?
i’m wearing 4 inch heels today and god they hurt so much…but they are so cute. i think my baby toe is starting to ooze out of the sides. might be time to switch to my flats.
i had powdered soup again for lunch. i’m fascinated by the stuff. i opted for the “hearty vegetable” this time. the powder looked exactly the same as the pea and ham powder but this time, the chewy bits that didn’t dissolve i was able to recognise as peas. i crumbled cheese crackers in them to make it more palatable (oh Cheds, how i love you!)
am drinking copious amounts of water at the moment, pretending it’s coffee. not working. i may need to give in soon.
why is our office so cold? my fingers are turning blue (unless it’s ink from my pen).
currently chatting with a friend in america while i write this. need to convince him that australia is way cooler to visit than japan.
drinking water does not make me as happy as drinking coffee.
i work with nerds.
or maybe i’m the nerd? i was researching what wii game to get next…
who wrote “buy treats for office” on my to-do list? certainly not me.
can’t wait to get home and watch judge judy.
