that’s the technical advice i just gave to a colleague who said the printer was playing up. in fact, that’s the advice i give to anyone experiencing troubles in the office. Later this afternoon, my computer decided to throw a tantrum and nothing would work so I consulted the IT gnomes – the real experts. His advice? Turn it off and then turn it back on again.
i’m still in holiday eating mode and i’m trying to stop. i had a pop tart for breakfast instead of my fruit (well, it was a strawberry poptart) and a very very sweet coffee. by 11am, i was bouncing off the walls, offering free IT advice to anyone that talked to me and being rather pleasant about it. I’m usually quite surly in the mornings. however, by 3pm, i started to crash just when i had to design a cover with a big truck on it. if i weren’t going thru sugar detox, i would’ve resisted the idea of a truck being used (again) on yet another cover, but i couldn’t be bothered and got the biggest, dirtiest truck i could find and slapped it on the cover. job done. they loved it. if only everything was that easy.
